Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation
Deadline: Oct. 11, 2024
Since 1997, Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation has awarded over 815 scholarships worth a total of $801,500. The scholarship program is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students. Scholarships are awarded at the MCA Annual Convention & Trade Show in January. Applicant must be a Missouri resident and a current paid member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association or the parent/legal guardian must be a current paid member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association.

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Deadline: November 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time
  • Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.
  • High school graduates are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are submitted; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
  • The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2022 competition.
  • Male and female students compete separately.
  • Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • The Chicago office of the Elks National Foundation will announce the 500 national winners in late April, 2022. (Many local Lodges, districts and state Elks associations award their own scholarships through this program. These scholarships are not to be confused with the 500 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarships.)

MSBA Future Builders Belcher Scholarship
Deadline: Due to Mrs. Johnson no later than November 12, 2024
  • Students need to complete the application, print it off, and turn it in to Mrs. Johnson. 
  • An essay is also required. The essay topic is at the end of the scholarship application.
  • Application needs to be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
Miami R-1 School Board will then select one student's application to represent Miami to compete for the scholarship.

JACK KENT COOKE FOUNDATION COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
DEADLINE: Nov. 14, 2024
TThe Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's top four-year colleges and universities.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Senior standing – Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2023.
  • Fall College Enrollment – Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2023.
  • GPA – Earn a minimum, cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Demonstrate Unmet Financial Need – We will consider applicants with a maximum annual gross income of $95,000. Last year’s cohort of new  College Scholarship recipients had a median family income of approximately $34,000.  During the selection process, the Foundation will conduct a full financial review which will take into account all income and assets of the student and the student’s parents.​

National Honor Society Scholarship
Deadline: Nov. 26, 2024 at 5 PM (ET)
Since 1946, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) has awarded more than $25 million in scholarships to outstanding NHS seniors. This year, we are awarding $2 million in scholarships to 600 students. Each year, scholarship recipients are selected based on their demonstration of the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.

DECEMBER
The Hagan Scholarship
Deadline: December 1, 2024
The Hagan Scholarships are intended for high achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college.
  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  2. Must attend an Eligible Public High School.
  3. Must be a student in the 2020 high school graduating class.
  4. Must have achieved a high school CGPA of 3.75 or higher.
  5. Must have scored 24 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score) or 1,150 on the SAT.
  6. Must enroll at an eligible four-year college the first semester following high school graduation.
  7. Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of college; from August 2019 to August 2020.
  8. Must complete the FAFSA in 2019 using 2018 tax return information; the EFC must not exceed $6,500.
  9. Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
  10. Must not have been convicted of a felony. .

Burger King McLamore Foundation Scholarship
Deadline:December 16, 2024
If 50,000 applications are received prior to December 16, the application will no longer be available. The application opens October 15, 2024.

Bates County Mizzou Club
DEADLINE: January 7, 2025
The Bates County Mizzou Club offers TWO annual scholarships to area seniors who have been accepted and plan to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Missouri Broadcasters Association Scholarship
Application deadline: Jan. 15, 2025
The MBA Scholarship Fund was established to financially aid Missouri broadcast students in attaining training and expertise required to become valuable employees in the broadcasting industry.

Ed Stegner Natural Resources Scholarship
Deadline: January 31 every year
Applicants must be Missouri residents from any county or city in the state who are or plan to be enrolled as an undergraduate at a Missouri college or university in the chosen discipline of study (Fisheries, Forestry, Wildlife, Parks and Recreation, or Soil and Water).  

DAR Scholarships
Deadline: January 31 at 11:59 pm (Eastern Standard Time)
Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.

Youth in Agriculture Scholarship

Youth in Agriculture highlights the important contributions that youth and farm families make to Missouri. Young people involved in Youth in Agriculture learn valuable lessons in leadership, economics and the tried-and-true ethics of hard work and perseverance.

MFA Foundation Scholarship
Opens Dec. 1
Deadline: Feb. 15, 2024 
The MFA Foundation was established in 1958 with the primary purpose of providing greater educational opportunity for the youth in our trade territory.
The Foundation's major activity is its Scholarship Program, which has provided financial assistance to over 14,500 college and university students from rural communities since its initiation in 1965. Every spring approximately 325 graduating high school seniors receive MFA scholarships, co-sponsored by the MFA Foundation and local MFA agencies.

Horatio Alger National Scholarship
The undergraduate application is available from December – March 1, 2025
The Horatio Alger Association seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education, and a desire to contribute to society. 
To be eligible to apply for the Horatio Alger National Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States; be progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2020 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
  • Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
  • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
  • Be a United States citizen

Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must be planning to major in a field related to banking, such as accounting, or finance.

The Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC) awards 8 - $1000 scholarships to graduating Missouri high school seniors planning to attend a Missouri college, university, community college, or vocational school. 

Charles E. Kruse Farm Bureau Scholarship
Deadline to apply: March 15, 2025
Recipients must be Missouri residents and they, their parent(s), or guardians must hold a current Missouri Farm Bureau membership. They also must be a high school senior enrolling in a 4-year college or university with a declared major in an agricultural field and enrolled in the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.

Mid-West Fertilizer

BigSun Scholarship
