This Paraprofessional will need to have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of the following requirements: Completed at least two years (60 credit hours) of study at an institution of higher education; obtained an Associate's (or higher) degree; and receive certification from Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Applicant must have knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness as appropriate. Applicants must pass a background check.
