I am very excited to have your child this year in my class. I love the small town atmosphere! I am very excited for this year at Miami. I went to college at Avila University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading. I currently reside in Garden City, MO and I live with my wonderful husband and my daughter. We also have three amazing dogs! In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, play board games, and spend time with my family!
In my classroom, I have high expectations for my students. I believe that it is my job to help every student achieve at his/her ability level and to do so in a way that meets his or her individual needs. I strive to know the students' learning styles and plan activities to cater to their needs. I expect every child in my classroom to learn. My classroom is always open to you. I am here to work with you and do whatever it takes to help your child learn. Together, we are a team to help your child be successful. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
I love my job - working with your child on a daily basis while watching him or her grow and learn. I look forward to working together with you to make this a successful year for your child!
