REQUEST OF QUALIFICATIONS PROPOSAL
FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

The administration, on behalf of the Board of Education, Miami R-I School District, 7638 N.W. State Route J, Amoret, MO. 64722, will receive statements of qualifications for Architectural Services, for a new gymnasium, locker rooms, concession and lobby building facility to be constructed on the existing school campus.
Any firm interested in submitting their qualification shall download a copy of the qualification documentation related to the scope of services required, the selection process, and the qualifications and requirements requested by the owner. The Qualifications Proposal can be downloaded from the District’s website at www.miamir1.net
All questions regarding the request for qualifications shall be directed to Dr. Daniel Johnson at (660-267-3480).
Dr. Daniel Johnson, Superintendent, will receive qualifications proposals on behalf of the Board of Education for Miami R-I School District. A total of 8 copies of the proposals will be received on or before 1:00p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017. Statement of Qualifications Proposals received after said time will not be accepted nor considered by the owner.

Request for Qualifications Proposal

The Miami R-I School District, located at 7638 N.W. State Route J, Amoret, Missouri 64722, is requesting statements of qualifications from architectural firms to provide design-consulting services for the construction of a new gymnasium, locker rooms, concession and lobby building to be constructed on the existing campus.
Any Architectural Firm interested in visiting the site can call for an appointment by contacting Dr. Daniel Johnson at (660)-267-3480.
The scope of work that is the subject of this request for qualifications is the building configuration study and the final design development: plan preparation, and specifications for the new facility.
During the design phase, the School District desires to be closely involved in the plan development. The selected consultant should anticipate being asked to meet with district staff throughout the building conceptual design, preliminary planning and final design phases.
The consultant may be asked to assist during the bidding phase, answer questions from contractors.
If your firm would like to be considered for this project, please include the following in your qualification information:
1. A description of the firm and services.
2. Specialized Experience. Describe the specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to designing school facilities.
3. Capacity and Capability. Describe the capacity and capability of your firm to perform the work in question. Include the number and nature of staff to be employed on a full or part-time basis.
4. Past Record of Performance. Describe the past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules of projects.
5. References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years.
6. Describe the ability of the firm with regard to engineering requirements (structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
7. Any other information that your firm feels is deemed to be relevant to the project.

Qualification Submission Process:
If your firm is interested in submitting your qualifications and additional requirements, we request that eight (8) copies of information be submitted to the Miami R-I School District by Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:00PM. All documents should be submitted to Dr. Daniel Johnson, Superintendent of the Miami R-I School District, 7638 N.W. State Route J, Amoret, Missouri 64722. Qualifications or amendments will not be accepted after that time. The Board of Education will evaluate all qualifications received. The Board will instruct Superintendent or other designee to confer with top candidates and possibly schedule final interview. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals.
